Lively Shows: Club Life
Meet Jordan Beaupre! Hailing from Leesburg, VA, Jordan joins us from the CDS department, which is no surprise. She’s captivated by the strong community ties at UMW and the meaningful connections students can forge with professors and mentors. Jordan’s also a devoted art enthusiast and a budding vinyl collector. Her beloved childhood movie is “The Princess Bride,” and her top binge-watch choice is “Psych” (2006). Jordan finds the beauty in videography and photography, which immortalize moments in time and serve as time capsules.
Meet Nellie Bittenbender! Hailing from Berryville, VA, Nellie is a CDS and studio art double major, who spends a substantial amount of time in the studio. Her passion for photography and videography stems from the ability to transform everyday moments into pieces of art, whether through still images or cinematography. As a child, Nellie cherished the live-action version of “Cat in the Hat.” Nowadays, she’s an avid binge-watcher of “What We Do in The Shadows.” A delightful fun fact about Nellie is her previous job on a farm, where she cared for adorable baby cows and pigs. Nellie’s unique perspective and creative flair are valuable assets to our team.
Meet Alanah Cleare! Alanah, a junior, is a marketing major with a minor in digital studies who adores UMW’s inclusivity. Meet Eniya Cropper! Eniya is a junior at UMW, majoring in studio art with a digital studies minor. She’s well-versed in video production, having showcased her skills over the summer by working on a video featuring the UMW Paint Crew during her time at the Summer Arts and Humanities Institute. A fun tidbit about Eniya is her background in competitive public speaking from high school. As a child, she had a fan of movies like “Kungfu Panda 2” and “Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo.” A Thanksgiving tradition she holds dear is binge-watching “Over the Garden Wall.” What truly captivates Eniya about photography and cinematography is their ability to provide a concrete perspective of the world. Through her lens, she can show others the world as she sees it.
Meet Chenin Guber, our resident “do it all” extraordinaire! Chenin is a senior at UMW, originally from Bristow, VA, with a deep passion for CDS, studio art, social media, and photography. She wears multiple hats on campus, from crafting the SAE weekly newsletter to capturing event moments through her lens. Of course, she’s also a dedicated Lively intern. Chenin thrives on immersing herself in UMW’s vibrant yet close-knit community. Her all-time favorite childhood movie is “How to Train Your Dragon,” which still holds a special place in her heart. When it comes to TV, she’s all about “The Witcher.” What Chenin loves about photography and videography is seizing candid, in-the-moment scenes to tell stories.
